The 16" (406mm) Woofer goes down to 20hz that features a titanium coated cone and an alloy bobbin for superior heat dissipation and a duralium cone cap to assist distributing medium to low range sound.
A 6.5" (160mm) cone mid low range with mylar cone cap and a 200 micron coating in aluminium to ensure long life also has a aluminium coil bobbin
A horn speaker with mylar diaphram adds extra sparkle to the higher end mid range is complimented by 2 similarly constructed horn tweeters and finally a 30mm mylar film super tweeter handles up to the 22,000hz limit which are all driven by alnico magnets.
These are all mounted within engineered cabinets H660xW445xD280mm that have 2 bass reflex ducts fitted with rolled corrugated acoustic filters to compliment the massive bass response at high volume.
They weigh 24.6Kgs each.
Nominally 8 ohms however will handle from 4 to 16 ohms comfortably.
Sensitivity 98 dB/W at 1 M
5 way crossover (700,2,000, 5,000 and 10,000 Hz) ensures the optimun selection of speaker to reproduce the sound as intended by the recording engineer and artists plus a 3 way front mounted tone selector to easily allow matching of the speakers to the room acoustics.
In my view these are the equal of any speaker of this size from any manufacturer without spending many times my very reasonable reserve.

At the time of purchase they cost me almost 20% of what I paid for a brand new Datsun 180B SSS Coupe` and I will sell them only to someone seriously interested in owning a quality of speaker you won't find at your local Harvey Norman/Good Guys outlet. Crank them up and you will literally feel the bass hit you physically as the massive bass speakers pump out the drummers best notes.
Apart from some minor chips from the walnut veneer finish on the face of one the speakers are not just in excellent condition and perform like new. They were originally mated as the front speakers to my Sansui Quad amp that unfortunately died around 15 yrs ago and have since been doing duty very ocassional duty as a home cinema set and rarely used for the last 8 yrs.e and specifications sheet for anyone not familiar with these speakers capabilities.
Can be collected from vendor or I will deliver within 50Km radius of Gretna Tasmania for $15.
In my view these are the equal of any speaker of this size from any manufacturer and aren't made due to the mass market demanding more affordable units.
